Information/request to Governor Ron DeSantis & Department of Environmental Protection.
Dear Transportation Directors and Fleet Managers:
In the event you are unaware, the State of Florida is determining how to allocate Florida's portion of the Volkswagen (VW) Settlement Fund ($166,000,000). The DEP (Department of Environmental Pollution) is conducting research on how to best allocate the funding. A fellow Transit Director/Manager asked me to assist in getting the ECO Fuel System paid for and installed on all Buses. He is in agreement that it ECO Fuel Filter/Enhancer works to help fuel burn cleaner and more efficiently. As has been Certified the ECO installation has proven to reduce not only Carbon Pollution and Particulates but the reduction of Maintenance expenses. +/- $3,000/bus/annually.
As a Transportation official please contact the office of Governor Ron DESantis and Jeff Koerner, Director of DEP (below). Ask them to take action to reduce Carbon immediately by using the proven low cost ECO Fuel System solution.
For +/-$390 each Bus can reduce Hydrocarbons, Particulates and Downtime. With over 50,000 diesel bus installations the ECO Fuel System is a proven immediate solution to reducing Pollution (40%-70%+). The ECO solution is not an expense, its profitable, the ROI on a Transit bus is +/-20 days.
Budget should no longer be an issue, join your fellow Transportation associates and Municipalities, let our public officials know you want to help the State of Florida reduce Hydrocarbon Pollution immediately.
